Can I bring an animal with me to the festival?
Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed on the festival grounds or campgrounds. Only designated service animals are permitted.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as an animal that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the animal must be directly related to the person’s disability. Under the laws of the State of Washington, a service animal may be a dog of any size/breed, or a miniature horse.
If you are bringing a service animal, please note:
- Washington State follows the ADA requirements for the service animal to be under the complete control of its handler. This could be achieved through the use of a leash, harness or other tether mechanism. However, in cases where either the handler is unable to hold a tether because of a disability or its use would interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of work or tasks, the service animal must be under the handler’s control by some other means, such as voice control.
- The service animal must be housebroken. Urinating or defecating in inappropriate public places may result in removal from the event.
- The service animal must be vaccinated and licensed in accordance with state and county laws.
- The handler is fully responsible for the care of the animal, including feeding, watering, and cleanup, at all times while on festival or campground property.
- Identification such as a vest or documentation is preferred but not required.
Upon entry, you may be asked the following two questions:
- Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
What is the Currency of the Realm?

Trinket Gifting
We understand that the exchange of trinkets (small pocket-sized gifts) is a fun way for participants to create memories and express fondness for one another. With that, the following guidelines must be followed to ensure the wellbeing, safety and respect of all involved:
- Trinkets are gifts not currency, they may not under any circumstances be sold or exchanged for goods or services. Trinkets are not a substitute for cash tips.
- Be Original and Do Not Copy what other merchants or performers are offering in their shops or as a part of their performance.
- Respect and Safety: Never hand a trinket or tiny object directly to a child unless given specific permission by their adult/chaperone. If anyone declines to participate, politely respect this boundary and move along. Make sure that your trinket gifting does not disrupt sales or performances in or around shops and stages.

We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all guests of the Realms. If you experience or witness something concerning, or in clear violation of the law or our code of conduct, Please Report the Issue to Security or the Realms Unknown Staff immediately.
